Today I went to The Ex with Mom, Dad, and Matt & Wendy (they live behind us). It was OK. I was really hoping for more…

It’s also WAY too expensive – $20 to park, and $15 per person for grounds admission. Thank goodness that I get in for free!

The Food Building was fun – filled with lots of neat smells, but that became tiresome quite quickly. The real highlight of the day for me was feeling the steady cool breeze off the lake on my face, and through my hair. My Dad carried me through the Midway so that I could see what was going on, and really enjoy the breeze.

I think I’ve had my fill of The Ex for a few years – maybe we’ll go back when I’m old enough to ride the Polar Express with my Mom.

DSC_0097_2In just six short weeks I’ve developed enough muscle strength to prop myself up! I haven’t fully figured out to get my legs and arms to work together to move me forward, but when I’m on my Dad’s chest I’m able to drive the top of my head into his chin with a lot of force. I think that’s a “step” in the right direction. :)

That’s how much more than my birthweight I now weigh. In just one month I’ve gained 2.25 pounds and now weigh in at a whopping 9 pounds, 9 ounces.

This means that I’ll now be able to sleep for as long as I want without fear of one of may ‘rental units waking me up for a feeding.

My head has been growing as well. And not just because all the ladies think I’m awesome.

My height hasn’t changed too much, but I am getting taller.

It took a few weeks of waking him up every hour or so throughout the night, but I was finally able to convince my Dad that I should be allowed to sleep in the big bed.

This morning I had a bath. Dad was changing my diaper and although my diaper was full, so was my bladder. So I peed. Hit him right in the face. Now he’s covered in pee, and so am I. Mission accomplished. I get to take a bath!

Mom filled the big tub with a few inches of water and Dad and I got in. It was legen – wait for it – dary! I might have to try this peeing technique every day if it results in a bath for me.

Mom helped with the bath as well. She washed my hair. Now my hair feels as good as it looks.
