Today I attended my first TFC match at BMO Field. It was a lot of fun. I slept through the first two goals. The cheer from the second goal woke me up, and I enjoyed the remainder of the game sitting on my Dad’ lap. Big Louis and his father-in-law sat with us. Louis has a son that is a few months older than me – when we are older Louis said that we’ll tear it up just like he did with my Dad. I don’t know what “tear it up” means but by the look on his face he and my Dad must have had a lot of fun together.
There are just two home games left for TFC. I hope that Dad takes me to both of them.
Mom took a picture of us outside the stadium – I’ll have Dad post it later.
Although that sounds like the measurement of the winning walleye in the Port Credit fishing derby, it’s actually how big I am. I’m huge! And I’m strong. The doctor was amazed at my muscle development and ability to hold myself upright. She joked that I might just skip the crawling stage and go right to walking.
The trip to the doctor was not all fun; I had to get a couple of immunization needles. They were huge! The doctor tried to trick me and had Mommy feed me while she gave me the needles. I let her put the first one in without even flinching. But on the second one I let her know that she wasn’t fooling anyone and let out a blood curdling scream followed by a torrent of tears. Sadly my efforts were all in vain as the doctor said we have to go back in a couple of months for more shots.
Last night I spent the entire night in my own bed, in my own bedroom. Until now I’ve been sleeping in my other bed that’s upstairs in my parents room. I like it up there because I’m close to them if I need anything; but I’m getting older now and it’s high time that I start taking advantage of the awesome bed they bought me.
